When you’re starting out, you gotta understand the requirements. Talk to the stakeholders, whether it’s the end – users, the management, or the IT team. Find out what they need the system to do. What are the key features? What are the performance goals? What kind of security measures are required? For example, if you’re designing a system for an e – commerce platform, the stakeholders might want features like product catalog management, shopping cart functionality, and secure payment processing.
Defining the Scope
Once you’ve got a handle on the requirements, it’s time to define the scope of the system. This means deciding what’s going to be included in the system and what’s not. You don’t want to bite off more than you can chew. For instance, if you’re making a mobile app system, you might decide to focus on the core functionality like user sign – in, product search, and checkout in the initial release. Extra features like social media integration can come later.
Choosing the Right Components
